What to Expect During a First Visit.

01/ Consultation

Each patient receives an individual treatment based on their own conditions.

   The acupuncture treatment usually needs 60-90 minutes for 1st time visits, and 30- 60 minutes for follow up visits. 


   Patients should wear comfortable clothing that can easily be pulled up to the knees and elbows to allow for treatment using points on the arms, legs, neck, or head to treat various conditions.

   It is recommended to have a little food at least 30~60 minutes before your visit. An empty stomach can leave you feeling tired by having acupuncture treatment.

   Please bring in any lab or imaging results that may help us to understand more about your conditions.

02/ Payment Options

  • Personal Insurance: We accept many insurances (PPO and HMO). Please call to verify your insurance.

  • Workers Compensation: We can usually treat you if you have authorization for acupuncture treatments, but we will need to check with your adjuster.

03/ Insurance Coverage

Many insurance companies in California cover acupuncture treatments. We will have to review your plan to determine the exact coverage for you.
